Classes for the MSN degree are fully online in an asynchronous format, where students complete online modules when it works in their schedules. A minimum of two optional interactive touchpoints will be included where students interact with peers and instructors in an engaging, interactive environment. The MSN/MHA dual degree is designed for nurses who desire to earn a Nursing master's degree, and who also have interest in nursing leadership and healthcare administration. The program focuses on the business of healthcare with an emphasis on high-quality and safe patient care delivery and outcomes.
Students will attain a broad conceptual understanding of the healthcare industry and develop specific, focused administrative skills to guide healthcare organizations toward greater efficiency, effectiveness and positive patient and organizational outcomes.
Graduation takes place once all course requirements for both degrees have been completed, which is approximately four years.
