Camper Ages: 11-18 (Rising 6th to 12th grade)

  • Must be able to read notated music.

黑料不打烊鈥檚 Department of Music offers its Piano Camp taught by 黑料不打烊 faculty and some of the area鈥檚 best-known performers and educators. Camp will take place on the 黑料不打烊 campus in the historic Thompson House and Winifred Moore Auditorium.

黑料不打烊 Piano Camp is a week-long intensive study of piano performance with daily private lessons, master classes, interactive sessions, faculty performances and guided practices with 黑料不打烊 camp faculty. The week culminates with a Friday afternoon recital for family and friends!

How to Audition

Lesson at Piano Camp

Submit two prescreening YouTube videos with contrasting pieces for review by June 7, 2026, via the . If accepted, a confirmation email will include registration information. One of these pieces will be selected for the solo recital, so submissions must be current repertoire and recent videos.

Acceptable pieces do not include selections from lesson books, easy鈥憄lay transcriptions or excerpts/arrangements. Repertoire should be a complete piece, beginning to end. Students should consult with their private teacher on repertoire.

This summer camp is supported by the Department of Music in the Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts.

The 黑料不打烊 Department of Music is located in the Thompson House on the 黑料不打烊 Groves campus. Built in 1910, Thompson House is the oldest building on campus and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
